Sindanol (Shanghai) Ltd. Sindanol (Shanghai) Ltd., a joint venture by Sindanol International Ltd. (Hong Kong) and Xindeco Ltd., is located in China's largest free trade zone - Shanghai Wai GaoQiao Free Trade Zone and enjoys all the preferences for investment and trade bestowed upon by the Chinese government.

The business activities of Sindanol (Shanghai) Ltd. include import and export of means of production and livelihood, entrepot and transit trade, acting as an import and export agent, processing with imported materials, compensation trade, bonded business, and the development of real estate. With a bonded warehouse covering a floor space of 8,788 sq.m., it is now mainly engaged in import and export of means of production and livelihood, bonded processing and warehousing.

The Sindanol Bonded Building is situated in the ideal location for international trade, duty free exhibitions, warehouse, and management operations. It is located in the Wai GaoQiao Free Trade Zone in the D block at No. 9 Jingyi Road. Just north of the building is the govermnent duty-free processing center, to the west is Yang Gao Rd. From the building to the Shanghai city center is 20 km, 4 km to the main port, and 10 km to Pu Dong International Airport.

The first floor of the Sindanol Bonded Building has an exhibition hall with a floor space of 1,450 sq.m. and a height of 5.7 m. For large items, special lighting, or cumbersome items the exhibition hall is equipped with all necessary equipment allowing freedom to maximize display potential. It also includes a business center, a managerial booth and a bar. Meeting all possible needs, the hall has been designed to meet international standards, provide elegance and comfort, with exquisite service.

Tenants of the Sindanol Bonded Building are able to not only enjoy the modern facilities but also take advantage of the following policies:

I ) Products entering or leaving the zone are not required to use import/export licenses or subject to business and industrial tax. Products produced and manufactured are not liable for value added tax.

2) Materials imported/exported for company use are not subjected to customs tax. Items applicable include building materials, production & management equipment, fuel, transportation equipment, and office supplies.

3) Enterprise permitted to carry out business operations in the zone fall into the following categories: international trade, exhibitions, warehouse storage, and value added processing.

4) Enterprises of the zone are subject to a 15% tax without an additional value added tax. Trade companies enjoy special preferential policies.

5) Foreign investment enterprises have the freedom to purchase houses and buildings without real estate tax for 5 years. Property rights can be freely transferred, rented or mortgaged with full legal protection.

6) The zone has established standardized banking services. Foreign currencies can be freely exchanged. Foreign enterprise and employees have no restrictions on money earned as profits or income.
